- Semaglutide is to be used together with behavioral and dietary changes for the treatment of obesity. Most common side effects are nausea and dizziness. For more information about managing obesity please speak with your primary care doctor. Please remember to tell your main doctor about all the medicines and supplements you’re taking.
- Inject Semaglutide under the skin (not into a muscle) of your tummy, thigh, or the upper part of your arm. This can be done at any time of the day, before or after eating, but the same day of the week is best. If you need to change the day you inject the medicine, make sure you leave at least 72 hours (3 days) between your last injection and the next one. Each time you inject, choose a different spot.
