Let me tell you my story...
Back then I was a child abuse investigator/social worker for the State of New Jersey. Daily job stress was a way of life. To help clear my head, on weekends I used to enjoy riding my motorcycle. One day while riding, someone in a large car blew through a stop sign and we collided. While I was spared debilitating injuries, I did manage to do some nice damage to my legs, back and neck. I treated my injuries like most. You know the routine, Advil, Tylenol, muscle relaxants, anti-inflammatories, pain killers, etc. etc. It helped for awhile but...
whenever I stopped using the drugs, the pain returned.
Since I didn't like taking drugs, I figured I would just learn to live with the pain. I was a decent enough player in high school to be  recruited to play college football, I knew pain... at least I thought I did. Then it began to get worse. What was once an occassional neck pain, back pain or headache was becoming chronic and serious. I began to think about surgery.
But there's more...
A friend of mine convinces me to give their doctor a try. This new doctor does an exam, takes some films and then "adjusts" my spine. The adjustment doesn't hurt, it actually feels good and I get almost immediate relief. Oh, did I mention that his doctor is a chiropractor? It works so well for me and I'm so impressed with the other miracles I see in his office, that I eventually go to chiropractic school myself.
My qualifications... I graduated from the University of Dayton and completed post graduate courses at both the College of New Jersey and Rutgers University before earning my Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. I'm board certified and licensed in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. I'm a member of the International Chiropractic Association and have been listed in the Nat'l Register's "Who's Who". I have also been honored by inclusion in the Consumer Research Council of America's  "Guide to America's Top Chiropractors".
I have been in practice for over 20 years in the same location and have completed over a thousand hours of post graduate studies in traditional science/medical/chiropractic based areas as well as numerous courses and trainings in nutrition, exercise and alternative/complementary healing approaches and methods. I enjoy history, the arts, the outdoors and physical fitness activities. But I especially enjoy treating difficult cases and being able to help where other health professionals (including other chiropractors) have failed.
